Quinta da Costa is located in the Alto Douro Vinhateiro integrated in the Douro Demarcated Region - Exposed to West-Quinta de Algorge, Nascente, North and South with a total area of about 2.7 HA. Consisting of three differentiated plots: - 1.95 ha of wine growing area; - 0.75 ha of cherry growing area; - agricultural warehouse with 120m2, which contains 2 floods: (1 white grape; 1 grape paint); 4 vats in stainless steel; 1 desengador and a press. The wine growing area was recently restructured (2016). About 10,000 feet of different varieties were planted there: Aragonez, Tinta roriz, Tinta barroca, Aragonez, Touriga franca, Bical, Malvasia fina, Rabigato, Cerceal branco and Viosinho. This wine exploration area has benefit of about 4 000 liters with classification D. The area of cherry trees produces, on average, about 6,000 kg of cherries per year. The cultivation area also has different fruit trees, namely olive trees, almond trees, orange trees, diospireiros, pear trees and others. This Farm also privileges a well and a stream, thus allowing its irrigation in an even more efficient and ecological way.
