Reference: RLHP-T1979. In the leafy countryside on the outskirts of Vicenza, there is this prestigious 16th-century estate with a big planted park for sale. This is undoubtedly a historical building of great value, known as one of the most important Venetian villas in this area, built in 1580, then renovated and enlarged with the annexed oratory of St Theobald in 1716. The frescoes dating back to 1587, according to the inscription painted above the entrance architrave, can be attributed to Paduan painter Girolamo Moro. An enchanting avenue crosses the garden and leads to the villa, preceded by a single ramp staircase leading to the splendid loggia on the façade, entirely frescoed and distinguished by six Ionic columns. In its 800 sqm, the villa offers on the ground floor some splendid vaulted cellars, and, going up we come across the noble floor, the mezzanine and finally the attics. At its side, a splendid little church offers an additional 83 sqm. Thanks to its strategic position in the Venetian countryside, this splendid centuries-old complex is perfect both as a majestic private home, as an elegant venue for events or even as a charming hotel.
