In Drôme des collines, an 18th-century château with medieval origins, registered as a historic monument (MH), its dependencies and its park. The property presents itself as a coherent complex set at the center of an arbored park, with a slight overlook above the road leading to the village. The château is built on a rectangular plan, with a tower at each corner and a square keep flanked at the level of the north wall. Spanning about 720 m², it rises over four levels. The broken-roof with old tiles testimony to successive building campaigns. The façades, made of stone and pale ochre plaster, alternate regular openings and older openings, reflecting the evolution of the dwelling through the centuries. A straight drive enters the park and serves the dependencies set back: former stables, orangery, barns and a boathouse, organized around a service courtyard. The tall trees form a natural protection that isolates the estate from its surrounding environment. A wide terrace extends to the south, while the landscaped park gradually descends toward the lower lands. The whole is designed as a small-scale lordly domain, where each building has its place in an orderly composition.
