In the land of Serres, a former 18th-century St. James of Compostela relay, in Louis XV style, with a 1-hectare park and a secondary garden. Along the Gr65, the historic route of Compostela, the original two-story building features brick, Garonne pebbles, and Quercy stones plastered in places. Each level is topped by a molded cornice and divided into three bays forming a symmetrical classical arrangement. The building is crowned by a remarkable ten-sided hipped roof in canal tiles. The main façade has nine openings, the arched over-lowered voussoirs alternating between Quercy cut stone and pink bricks. A carved scallop shell in Quercy stone marks the entrance, surmounted by a balcony with symmetrical botanical scrolls and a central wrought-iron palmette. At the summit, above a triangular pediment with a moulded frieze and cornice, a fleur-de-lis sits atop. On either side, a hangar and an old wine cellar complete the dwelling. At the rear, a contemporary extension has replaced the former structure. Bordered by massonery walls and buildings, a terrace of about one hundred square meters with gray paving gives access to the park, fully enclosed by fencing, shrubs, and trees. To the south, a dovecote rises on two levels. On the other side of the alley where the Jacquets walk, lies the secondary garden. The residence offers nearly 490 m² of living space, to which over 90 m² of hangar and about 80 m² of the wine cellar are added. It houses two living rooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and upstairs two bedrooms with bathrooms and one with a shower room.
