Near Bourges and the Menetou-Salon vineyard, an 18th-century château and its outbuildings on 15 ha. The estate covers about 15 ha, including 10 ha of wooded parkland with avenues. The château, notable for its classical architecture typical of French residences from the second half of the 18th century, presents a symmetrical plan composed of a central body flanked by two corner pavilions that structure the main façade. It has three levels with a raised ground floor, a noble floor, and converted attics under a remarkable Mansard roof covered in slate. The roof is rhythmically pierced by triangular-gable dormer windows, oculi, and imposing chimney stacks that contribute to the overall silhouette. The façade, sober and refined, is illuminated by tall French windows that bring abundant light to the interiors. The stone dressings, horizontal cornices, and corner turrets highlight the quality of the composition and the nobility of the construction. A spacious central flight of steps frames the main entrance and asserts the buildings symmetry. The slender turrets crowning the edges add a picturesque dimension and reinforce the majesty of the whole, evidence of embellishments probably carried out in the 19th century while respecting the original building. The château opens onto a classical-inspired garden composed of geometric parterres, structured paths, and carefully drawn perspectives. The privileged relationship between architecture and landscape reflects the tradition of the great French country estates, designed to combine representation, comfort, and harmony with the natural environment. Today the whole forms a characterful property with timeless charm, illustrating the French lifestyle and residential heritage of the 18th and 19th centuries.
