In Périgueux, in a residential district, a 19thcentury house, its ornamental garden, its pool and its garages. Built in ashlar stone and topped with a slate roof, the house stands out from its neighbors with eclectic architecture drawing on multiple influences. The street-facing facade features classic-style moldings, such as bossages forming falseeye corner joinery, as if the dwelling had a central projecting bay. This, with a symmetrical plan, is heightened by a dentilled cornice, the curved pediment of the dormer crowning the facade at its center and the moldings adorning a cantilevered first-floor balcony supported by ornate corbels. The elevation is also adorned with Renaissance-style elements such as chamfers and mullions. On the garden side, the master builder added a gallery and Jacobin dormers, as well as an hexagonal corner turret topped with a weather vane. On both sides, the facades are pierced by numerous straight windows of various sizes. At the rear, a garden secluded from view includes a terrace and a large pool.
