Neufchâteau, Lorraine 88300

Following in the footsteps of Joan of Arc, a small 16th-century village manor house. The property is located in the center of the village, overlooking the plain, facing the church. It consists of the union of two buildings built with rubble stone covered with lime plaster. The first, aligned along the street, was probably an old agricultural outbuilding, two stories high with an elaborately carved corner console, four bays, three oculi, and a wooden garage door. It extends perpendicularly by a main dwelling linked to a gravel courtyard at the arrival façade, a terrace at the rear with a garden and a hillside planted with conifers, shrubs and fruit trees on the south gable. The complex also includes a single-story outbuilding, roofed with mechanical tiles, extending from the former agricultural outbuilding. The entire dwelling, the façades and roofs of the secondary building, the footprint of the courtyard and the boundary wall with the original gate are listed as a Monument Historique.
