30 minutes from Lyon, in a medieval town that has preserved many vestiges, the abbey deanery of Teylan Abbey, renovated into housing. The property has a double access, by the main gate for vehicles on the side of the old town, and on foot from the pedestrian path leading to the market square. There, in a walled 3,881 m² park, stand two buildings connected by a barn. The three structures, now forming a renovated multi-family dwelling, sit at the junction of two grassy, tree-lined spaces. The main dwelling, rectangular in plan, faces south to reveal the remaining visible fragments of the old enclosure wall and connects with the building distribution courtyard and its private garden. The second dwelling, also rectangular, is an independent residence, also with its own private garden. The walls are masonry stone, largely gold-hued, highlighting the joinery, some equipped with insulating glazing. The roofs are covered with mechanical tiles.
