In a hamlet of Quercy Blanc, an old stone house restored with a guest residence, barn, stables and a swimming pool set in a landscape of rolling hills. The property is accessed by a small road that leaves the main route and reaches a discreet hamlet consisting of a few old dwellings. Slightly set back, the architectural and landscape ensemble occupies a plot of about 8,000 m² opening onto cultivated fields and woods that structure this countryside of Quercy Blanc. The main house forms the heart of the property. It is an old stone dwelling, almost square in plan, rising to three levels. Its limestone stone façades are pierced by regularly spaced bays framed by wooden shutters. A stone exterior staircase leads to the main entrance at ground level, a traditional arrangement in local rural architecture designed to keep the ground floor away from agricultural use. The four-pitched roof is tiled with canal tiles. At the foot of the stairs, a grassy and tree-shaded terrace, slightly elevated, allows enjoyment of the surrounding countryside. Around the dwelling, the other buildings are arranged, also in stone and tile. An independent guest house of about 60 m², modest in size and single-storey, has its own terrace and a small private garden, allowing family or guests to stay autonomously. An agricultural outbuilding in stone completes the built ensemble. It houses a barn as well as several annexes, including horse stables and a technical room. A well still in use sits beside the house. In front of the main dwelling, almost at the foot of one of its side façades, a rectangular swimming pool takes place on a lawn widely open to the countryside. The buildings are well distributed over the plot, at a good distance from one another, ensuring unobstructed views of the surrounding hills and fields. All together, it forms a small cohesive built group, characteristic of rural settlements in this part of Tarn-et-Garonne, where old houses, outbuildings and gardens are arranged on the edge of an ancient habitat within a largely agricultural landscape.
