In the Southwest, in the heart of the Gers department, a renovated manor house and its dependencies, set in a 6-hectare park with a swimming pool. In the land of Astarac, from a departmental road that winds between hills and rural landscapes, a sign bearing the name of the domain marks the entrance to the property. The silhouettes of tall Libyan cedars stand out, hinting at the presence of a discreet and beautiful residence, sheltered from view by natural hedges, set back from the road. Two tall dressed-stone pillars frame a wrought-iron gate from the 19th century. Delicately crafted. From there, a long tree-lined carriage path shaded by elms and bounded by vast meadows leads to the complex of buildings hidden from one another by dense yet well-controlled vegetation. A barn clad with timber on three sides reveals itself below the path, giving way a little further to a stone log store with open timber framing. The paved driveway runs along the main dwelling, which appears in the center of a clearing bordered by majestic trees whose crowns seem to flirt with the sky. It ends at a monumental carport, set back and facing the main house, thus offering a most welcoming view of the residence. The meadows of about 6 hectares lie at the intersection of two small roads, to the south and west, and a river runs along the third side of the land to define its boundaries. The L-shaped wing of the main building, blind on this façade, rises to the west of the property, above the land, shielding the edifice from all nuisances, visual or auditory.
