EVOLENE - Bréonna Beautiful alpine meadow Located on the heights of the Haudères and the hamlet of La Forclaz, this charming alpine meadow enjoys an exceptional and wild environment. Access is via the village of La Forclaz on a forest road and then through the alpine meadows. The road is passable by 4x4 vehicle outside the winter period. During the winter, it is a wonderful destination for hiking. The chalet is very rustic. The heating is provided by two stoves made of stone (ground floor + 1st floor). The water supply is guaranteed by a nearby source, which supplies the meadow. The kitchen is rudimentary with gas equipment. The electricity is provided by a photovoltaic system. The building envelope is in good condition and does not require any particular work. The meadow is habitable as it stands without renovation. On the lower ground floor you will find a cellar and storage room. The upper ground floor offers a magnificent terrace facing the Ferpècle glacier and the Dent Blanche. A closed kitchen, a living room and a dining room complete this level. Dry toilets were added recently. On the first floor, a storage hall and a large dormitory can accommodate two bedrooms or 4 to 5 beds in a single room. This very popular building offers an exceptional environment for nature lovers and those who enjoy a mountain lifestyle. Access is easy by 4x4 vehicle outside the winter period when the road is closed. The Bréonna site is accessible during these months on snowshoes. The hamlet is made up of several of these alpine meadow chalets. The surrounding alpine cirque is exceptional and will delight all lovers of peace and nature.
