Standard of Living in Bali

Traveling around the Island is also reasonably affordable. If you want to travel between towns, you can ride a public Bemo, private Bemo, rent a car, or a taxi. Bali Taxi, known as Blue Bird Taxis, is the most convenient choice. It's base rate is about fifty cents in USD, then around a quarter for every kilometer. The fastest and most affordable way to get around Bali is by renting a motorcycle. Daily rates range about $4 to $10.
